YOU’LL FIND STORIES,
MY THOUGHTS ON LIFE, LOVE, & LESSONS LEARNED.
I can't remember when I first felt the need to stretch my existence. Over the years I’ve developed a love and appreciation for adventure traveling which was something I took for granted. This website will attempt to capture and convey my thoughts and emotions that I experience through life in general. It’s here that I find my inspiration. I hope to continue to be motivated to attempt to capture overwhelming experiences of my life. My only wish is that you find something here that will inspire you. Maybe, just maybe, you will stick with me on this endless journey.
FOR SALE!!
(Click on the Picture) I created this children's book while I sailed my 34ft Hunter sailboat, "Voyager" from Annapolis Maryland to Dominican Republic in 2020. I had little to no experience which made this journey all the more significant.
This is a colorful introduction to the joy of sailing. A story about an young black child that had a dream for sailing around the world. With the help of a ghostly friend named "Will" he was able to realize his dream. This is a great book for parents, grandparents, and anyone with young children who have a dream but need a little push to chase it.

WHAT'S NEW!!!!
Those that have been following me on IG @WHEREWOULD WILLGO know that I have been on the road for almost a year. I started this journey in Bowie, Maryland June 21, 2022, attempting to drive as far as possible on my savings, donations, merchandise sells, etc.
In my self-built 2000 7.3L Diesel Ford Excursion, which I call "EX." We have set off on an amazing journey on what can be considered the "Mother of all Road Trips." Currently, I have reached Ecuador and continue to head south. I hope I will inspire you to try whatever your heart desires. |
History of the Pan-American Highway
The Pan-American Highway is the longest derivable road in the world and totals approximately 19,000 miles (30,000 km). The road runs from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to Ushuaia, Argentina. 1889 at the First International Conference of American States, the USA proposed closer links to its neighbors via a continent-spanning railroad. The idea never amounted to much but years later, at the Fifth International Conference held in Chile in 1923, a Pan-American Highway was proposed. This time the idea received a more enthusiastic response from the participating nations, though it wasn’t until the sixth conference, in Cuba in 1928, that the proposal was approved.
The suggestion was to have the highway start in Mexico and run south to Buenos Aires, and it was the financial support from the United States that was key to its development, even though the US didn’t have an official part of the PAH running through it.

OVERLAND EXPEDITION: IN PROGRESS
The plan is to drive my truck from Maryland (Home Base), head north into Canada. Traverse the Trans Canadian Adventure Trail (TCAT) to Vancouver then, head north to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. From Prudhoe Bay, turn south and drive the Pan-America highway through Central America to South American, Ushuaia, Argentina. Head Northeast along the east coast of South America to complete the loop in Venezuela. The next step would be to ship the truck to Morocco and circumnavigate Africa. MORE....
SAILING ADVENTURES for 2 Years : (COMPLETE)
On Aug 8th, 2020 in the height of the pandemic with no experience I bought a 34ft Hunter Sailboat. Oct 21st , 2020 I set sail from Annapolis Maryland with the desire to sail around the world. I successfully navigated my way south to Miami Florida, the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, seeking shelter from the hurricane season in Dominican Republic. What was only supposed to be a few months turned into a year living in Dominican Republic. I will try to recapture my experiences exploring 90% of the island on a motorcycle.
I have since returned to the America to work. I can't wait to see what the Universe has for me next.
Check back periodically. I hope to upload more videos and blogs about sailing and living abroad. Hit the link to see the videos uploading and definitely subscribe to my youtube channel. Sailing

FULL-TIME RV LIVING for 2.5 Years (COMPLETE)
In 2016 I bought an RV and traveled across the country for 2.5 years. I visited 48 states and too many State and National Parks to count. I also followed the, "The Green Book" to see all the African American historic locations.
During that journey I raced Mountainbikes winning several races. I also had a dune buggy which prompted me to find all the best riding and dunes across the country. Follow the link to all the blogs that I created along the way. At this time, the blogs are not in any particular order. Use the home page if you would like to view the content by state.
